OPD Valve

Overfill Protection Device (OPD) Valves are required in all propane cylinders with a capacity of up to 40 pounds.  This valve will automatically shut off filling when the cylinder is 80% filled.  This valve is distinguished from other non-OPD valves with a triangular hand wheel.

 

OPD for up to 40lb Cylinder

Provides vapor service for cylinder

Includes 10% outage valve for determination of 80% liquid level in cylinder

Includes safety relief valve set to 375 PSI
